When I’m not in session, you’ll usually find me reading, spending time with my pets or eating some type of sweets. Humor and connection are as much a part of my life as they are my therapy style.
I’m a therapist who believes healing doesn’t have to mean perfection, it means becoming more at peace with yourself, your past, and the parts of you that have been doing their best to keep you safe.
My work centers around helping adults process trauma, manage anxiety, and reconnect with who they are beyond survival mode. I bring a balance of clinical expertise, compassion, and realness into the therapy room. Sometimes you need warmth and validation, and other times you need someone to call out an unhelpful pattern (with kindness… and maybe a bit of sarcasm).
You are the expert on your own body and experience. My role isn’t to “fix” you. It’s to help you understand your internal world, recognize what’s working and what’s not, and guide you toward healing in a way that feels safe and sustainable.
In our sessions, we work collaboratively to identify your goals and create a plan to reach them. Whether that means processing painful memories, learning to regulate overwhelming emotions, or simply reconnecting with your sense of calm.
I take a warm, direct, and grounded approach, guided by empathy, curiosity, and a touch of humor when appropriate.
I’ve worked in the mental health field for several years, providing care in both outpatient mental health therapy and outpatient substance use treatment settings.
These experiences shaped my understanding of how trauma, addiction, and emotional regulation intersect, and how healing often requires addressing both the mind and body.
